Enjoy the moment

In this age of selfies, social media and insta stories, it is very easy to get engroessed in taking photos and ‘collecting stories’ to share with the world and  forget about the real reason of our travel. Travels is about experiencing a different place, a different environment, different setting. It is about soaking in the scenery, the scents, the sounds. This time round, take a step back and enjoy the moment. Get cosy and soak in the beauty of the sights around you. Let the signature aromas create memorable moments. The experience will remain with you long after the likes and comments die down. Of course, do not forget to capture it in your smart phone or camera but before that, make sure that it is written in your hear.

Weekend Getaway to Maasai Mara

Weekend getaways are a favorite among Kenyan and international tourists. Last weekend’s getaway to Maasai Mara was off the charts! The  adventure started with picking up our guests at 7AM from their hotel in Nairobi (of course we can’t tell you the exact location :)). After quick hellos and how are you doings, we were all set for an exciting, five-hour road trip. Our first stop on this Maasai Mara weekend getaway was at the Rift Valley View Point for the breathtaking view of the Great Rift Valley. The Great Rift Valley is a deep ridge that runs through from northern Kenya all the way to the South.

Orphans and Widows

In our initiative towards the orphans and widows, we donate food, clothes and school supplies towards this. There are also situations where we need to provide support in paying school fees for some of the orphans that we interact with. One can do this directly by paying fees for specific students in need or through our partners who are working towards this. We also carry out our Annual Family Picnics, where we give our beneficiaries a chance to experience a picnic in a family setting. You can bring your family along to participate in this and brighten another family’s heart. One of the organizations that we have partnered with is Maisha Poa Centre in the informal settlements of Kawangware, Nairobi. This organization takes care of former street boys and orphans by rehabilitating them back into the society. To participate in this, please get in touch with us and indicate the specific area.
